We've met just once through a mutual friend but having stumbled my way to this site I felt I needed to let you know that you have an absolutely beautiful perspective on life and that there is a simple grace to your thoughts as they appear here. I feel as if my own mouth has been emptied of things I try to say and say again. You are wise and living life as one can only hope to. I hope chance happens upon me and our paths cross once more. Thank you.

like when you walk down the same hallway every day for six months, and then one day you realize that if you walk close to the edge, your breath reverberates off of the ridged wall and sounds like fluttering wings. or when you find a little piece of someone's life, like a movie ticket stub, or a note in chinese, or some words of wisdom written in magnetic poetry and a whole story is sitting in your palm. or when you find pieces of your own self that you have always carried but never known, like when you suddenly have to figure out how to take off the armor of indifference and let someone else hold your heart and its really really scary. or when you read the word of God a thousand times, and today there was that one sentence that never made sense before but now it absolutely fills your soul and saturates every part of you with it's simple truth. like when you see the first leaves of spring and that color of green that they have that can't be captured and then you touch the soft smoothness of them and connect for just a second with the determination and strength and perfect beauty that was woven into every living thing's spirit. or when you're painting and you mix red and yellow together and at first it's just a muddled pool of non-color, but then suddenly the most sunset worthy orange explodes in the middle and you've created, before you've even put the brush on the canvas, you've created. or when you find an old book at an antique store called the new dictionary of thoughts and you flip it open and the scent of wisdom and meditation drifts up and makes you sit down right there and read for hours. or when you learn a new word, or discover a new place, or touch a new texture, or taste a new flavor, or feel a new emotion, or hear a new sound or...
